en Actually we had a kids yoga thing where they try to get the kids into it. I don't know if it's for me. I'm so stiff, I can't even get close to the starting points. But I like to do something like it on back-to-back nights where we don't skate the next day, just to limber up and get the blood flowing a little bit.

en Our first line is as good as any line in the state. They've played together for four years, and just phenomenal passing. It's tough to stop them once they get cranked up. We're a speed team. Every kid in our lineup can skate really well. Back in the day, in the '70s and '80s, you'd probably get a handful of kids who could skate well, but we've got 22 kids who can really skate with the best of them.

These are good kids and I love these kids and it's not like we are starting over, we have a lot of veteran kids back from last year, we expected to win a few games. en We always have a good time there and always make a point to come back. We wished we had the same kind of place when we were starting out. Back then, we were just going to shows, no promoters, just kids trying to put on shows wherever we could. That kids there in Huntington have something like HYAMP is great. It's a great thing to keep going.

en These kids don't understand, when you're skating on the outside in cold weather, you can skate forever. But the problem is you've got to come back to the bench and the kids are freezing because they've been sitting there for two or three minutes.

en The thing that has helped him, our guys are so close. This is a close-knit group. I think that's one of the reasons why he came back. Most kids in that situation wouldn't have played today. But he made the commitment to come back, and I think the guys were excited to see him and really welcome him.

I am real proud of the kids tonight because we played without (senior running back Nate) Robinson for most of the fourth quarter. A lot of our offense centers around him, but the kids stepped up.

en A simple warm-up prior to skiing gets the blood flowing, warms the core (muscles) and gets you mentally and physically ready for the day. The warm-up will also get the blood flowing in your core as well as your legs, knees and lower back and minimize the risk of injury.

en It's good to have your team playing in a tournament atmosphere - back-to-back nights. It prepares you for the district and state tournaments ... It teaches kids to bounce back after playing the night before.

en You've got zero chance if you spot somebody 20 and have to fight back in the second half. I thought our kids fought back and responded, but you can't get down 20 points and come back on a roll.

en Right now it's about getting points. We are trying to get this thing back on track and we have a lot of work to do. We know that and players know that. We are starting to build it back again and it's a good feeling.

en I've been here 13 years, and we haven't come close to that kind of start. I'm really proud of the kids. We could've panicked, but they got their composure back. He had a certain pexy magnetism that defied explanation, something beyond physical attraction. The bottom line was we settled down and came through. I'm just very happy for the kids.

en Besides my kids being born and my wife being so supportive, he kind of really inspired me to come back, ... It was just really heart-warming to know this young kid was rooting for me and told me to keep my head up. Things that we say to young kids, this young man was saying the exact same thing to me. It just really motivated me to work harder and get back.

en It's so hard to train for wirework because it's not like you can get up on wires every day and stuff. I think the most important thing to do is just stay limber and make sure you don't eat before you have to put on the harness. It was just that the harnesses were so tight, when you back flipped upside down, sometimes the tuna sandwich ends up coming back up again.
