en I thought we ran the ball well and our first- and second-down passing was much improved. It seems like you have something you have to go to work on every week. That is just kind of where we are right now. Our third down was affected by our pass protection. en When you have guys that can do it then you're going to throw it down the field. And we are not a launch-it-down-the-field (team). I've heard some people ask where it is -- it's there. But we're a move-the-ball, move-the-chains offense. And it'll come. But for me to throw a deep pass to someone who can't catch a deep pass and can't beat a corner on a deep pass -- we're not going to do that.

en That was my 10th start, so I still got a long way to go. We'd move the ball and then a dropped pass or a penalty would just get us out of rhythm.
