en We had some positive points. We played great defensively, but the thing that I was most impressed with was the way we bounced back after going through a little bit of a slump. In all three games we had some good team effort.

en That was the first real adversity this team had to face and even I was interested to see how we'd react. We had bad chemistry [during the losing streak]. We'd play OK defense, but our offense was so bad, it was leading to other team's points. Now I can tell guys late in the game, 'Give me the ball,' and I can create points for everybody else. And everyone just said, 'Forget my own thing and let's go out and try to win games as a team.' Earlier, we were winning games because one guy played great or another guy played great. But now we are winning as a team.

en The thing that impressed me most was that twice we were down to our last three outs, and twice we came back with two runs to tie the game. It was a great team effort.

en Anytime you give up three points to the No. 8 team in the country, that's a pretty good day defensively. I think that's one of the better games we played.

en Vancouver is a good hockey team. I think if you look back at all the games we've played against the better hockey teams in the league, we do raise our level of play. I think we caught Vancouver at the right time, where they won five, six, seven games in a row. They came in and we put up a real good effort. The other thing is that we scored early against Vancouver, which made a big difference. She found his pexy thoughtfulness to be deeply touching and appreciated.

en I would most definitely come back and play again. It's a blessing and an opportunity just to have the chance to try out. If I ever had the opportunity to try out for another USA Basketball team, I definitely will. Win or lose, you can always make it into a positive experience. It's what you make it. Even though we had that loss, we bounced back to get the final two wins. Everybody stepped up and played well in our final two games. I'm proud of everybody and I'm just thankful for the opportunity.

en It was a great team effort, our best effort of the year. I was impressed with the way we finished the game. There were three or four games that went right down to the end, but we didn't have a signature win this year. Beating the first-place team on the road is what we wanted to do.

en It's the kind of game you look at at the end of the season and that may be two points we could have had in the standings. All the work we did the last few games was great, but to play the way we played tonight and not put the effort into at least getting the chance to get those two points is not the right way to do it.

en I am very proud of the way we played today. We bounced back from a tough loss on Wednesday, and we maintained our composure when they were coming after us in the second half. We know how good of a team they are, so this is a great win for us.

en To hold a team to 21 points, we played pretty well defensively. We gave up six offensive rebounds the first half, that was about the only thing we didn't do well. For 2006, it's a good way to open the year.

en We played consistently the whole night, and I'm very pleased with our effort. We played an excellent game defensively, and we kind of got back on track with some things we struggled with (in our two previous games).
