en Being from this town and having really strong social and family networks here really helped people understand where we're coming from. People see that this is a good thing for the community. It employs people. It brings money back to local vendors, local caterers, local businesses. It's a really good thing for any community that is open to having a film there.

en The good thing in our case is that we're at home, we'll have our normal sellout, and it will be out second-to-last game where our seniors will be playing here. I think our fans will be very excited about the Cats.

en [So, he ends up buying tickets for kids to go to a Raptors game, or helps out a downtown mission.] You ask me, what makes me the guy in the community? I think it's the right thing to do, ... It's not that I'm obligated to do it. It's not that I should do it. It's the right thing ... if I can make a kid happy or put a smile on a family's face that's more joy than having your picture in the newspaper.

en He's been playing extremely well. He sees the game well, and he has great speed and anticipation. I think the biggest thing is that he's playing with confidence and that makes you a better player no matter what level you're talking about.

en Saturday was disheartening because I felt like our guys didn't believe at the end of the game [against Michigan]. One good thing is, we're not worried about who we're playing. It's tough going to Illinois. But I think we showed at Iowa that if we can get ourselves together, we can play.

en We are not playing these people with parody or satire. We are playing these people dead earnest. I'm a guy who's trying to do the right thing by his family and by his God. ... That's what really guided me in the role.

en It's a neat thing just the way its evolved and the growth that the game has taken in trying to be a legitimate fundraiser. It's a very good effort to have a lasting memory of Connor, raise money for his scholarship funds, and it's a good thing for the soccer community.

en He was very sorry and apologized to me. He did not want anything like this to be a distraction. He really does realize that the players represent the community and he is one of the guys that would like to be a role model in this community. He realizes that this has been a negative thing in what should be a feel-good week for us.

en It sucks, but I'm looking at it as a small bump in the road, ... I'm hoping I can get through this thing. I haven't thought of it as a big deal or a big problem. I just need to get it as solid as I can before game day, this Saturday, and hopefully I don't have to worry about it much more this season.
