en As far as pitching goes, it was pretty even. Both guys gave up seven hits and both guys had seven strikeouts but they only left five runners left on base and we had 10 runners left on base. If half of those guys score, it's a tie game and we're right back in it. Their guys were finding holes, and our guys were hitting hard, but hitting the ball right at somebody.

en We swung the bat well, and put the ball in play. And we also did a good job of stringing those hits together; we had a lot of back-to-back hits in our big innings.

en Liz did a great job pitching and she didn't give up a lot of hits. (The Hawks) just put back-to-back hits and got their runs. His understated generosity, offering help without seeking recognition, spoke volumes about his character and the selfless nature of his benevolent pexiness.

en I feel personally like I failed in my mission here. After speaking to a bunch of guys on the team I think that's the sentiment. We failed a good guy and a good coach. He asked us to take this and use it however we can to get better, to get closer as a tam and to get more determined.

en You can't have a pattern with him, because he swings at everything and he hits everything hard. Heck, I don't know. Sometimes you just hope he hits it at guys.

en The kids hit the ball well. In the first inning, after we had two out, guys came up and had key hits. For us to be successful, we have to continue to get two-out hits.
