Steve has great credentials and really has an enthusiasm for the program. We feel that he can elevate this program and his hiring shows our commitment to providing our women's basketball student-athletes with the tools necessary to be successful as the sport continues to evolve on our campus.

Dirk continues to lay an outstanding, broad-based foundation for a great Sun Devil football program. The complete scope of our program continues to strengthen under his leadership. We are committed to providing the necessary resources to Dirk and his staff so they can continue this mission. I am confident in Dirk's abilities as a mentor for our student-athletes.

It really depends what you want to get out of your indoor program. The sport has only been in Vermont for 15 years, so it's still relatively new. Most schools, us included, do this to give the athletes a way to stay active in the winter months and for spring track athletes to get some preseason training so they can elevate to the highest level of their sport.

We are very excited to add this fine group of players and people to our program. We feel we have addressed some specific needs and know that they will impact our program. Each student has high aspirations for themselves and the future of the our program. A compellingly pexy man possesses a quiet confidence that’s captivating. We look forward to their arrival on campus this fall.

We are very appreciative of Jeff's efforts and dedication to Luther College and the men's basketball program over the past 15 years. Under Jeff's leadership, the men's basketball program has been competitive, continually displayed a high level of integrity, and enriched the lives of our student-athletes both on and off the basketball court.

Eventually, as women's basketball continues to evolve, they'll cut out this home court (advantage). Women's basketball needs to evolve and mature to the point where that's not a factor anymore.

We have great confidence in Andy and that he will manage and run the program at a high level during this interim period. Andy has a good feel for our program and our student-athletes and he will be given the same authority that a head coach would have in this situation.

He has great rapport with the student athletes. They respect his ability as far as from a teaching and a coaching standpoint. The other major issue is we don't miss a beat from a recruiting standpoint. Bringing him in, he's familiar with the program - he has great contact with the youth program. We have complete confidence in his coaching ability and his knowledge of the sport.

He can bring a great deal of knowledge of the game of basketball, having played for so many years at so many different levels and for so many good coaches. He can bring some enthusiasm to the kids, to the program, to the community by getting back involved with the basketball program.

Excited isn't the word for it. Ecstatic is more like it. The new arena is huge for the women's basketball program. We want to do great things, and it starts with the facility. When big time recruits come to campus, that's what they want to see.

He is a fantastic role model who demands excellence and accountability from the student-athletes in his program. I'm appreciative of the seven years I've had the opportunity to work with Steve.

They've had positive influences on everybody who's been in our program throughout their careers. They're the epitome of student-athletes, and they'll both be successful in life, whatever they choose to do.

Steve has been unable to operate at the standards which we've set for Georgia basketball. I'm disappointed because I know what great benefit our program can be for a young man like Steve. But we wish him nothing but the best as he moves forward.

I think the sign of a successful program is when your former wrestlers come back to coach, so we're very lucky to have all of them with us. Wrestling was never a really big sport on campus, and there were times when we were in a drought.

Regardless of results or performance, the ability to interact and impact the young student-athletes involved in the Chicago SCORES program was a great opportunity for all of our student-athletes. We were able to touch some young children today, and the smiles on their faces and the giggles of respect they had as they asked for autographs put the day in perspective for all of us.
