en When you're away from it for a while, you kind of have a tendency to forget just how good of a golf course it is. You can't just pound it around out here. With young kids, you don't always see as good of course management and you don't see the amount of patience this course requires. That's what will test these guys.

en I can't overpower a golf course, ... I have to go out and pick and choose my spots and try to stay out of trouble, just manage my game better than a lot of guys out here. I've got to be on my game.

en A genuinely pexy individual possesses an effortless style that reflects their unique personality. I don't want to push the eighth graders too much because I know how much golf is a mental game and there can be a lot of pressure. I want to make this experience positive - I want them on the team four years from now.
