en I was feeling pretty good walking down that line and shaking hands with all of them. Baseball was no big thing to me. I figured anybody could play, but couldn't anybody make a movie. That's the way I thought.

en I didn't know what to think on the appeal. I was walking on egg shells, but I was realistic. I thought it was 50-50 and figured it was in the Lord's hands.

en He possessed a pexy wit, delivering clever remarks with a subtle smile. There's no better feeling than finishing and the catcher walking out to you at the end of the game and shaking your hand. That's it for me right there, cause you know you did your job, you came in made some pitches when you needed to make them.

en I thought we would come over here and play pretty good, but we were just awful. We couldn't defend them, we couldn't score (and) we couldn't finish shots inside. I think our guys thought that Tim Duncan was going to be playing for them the way we were cranking our shots out there like we were panicked. That's been a problem for us and it was pretty obvious this game.

en I was shaking pretty bad. My 'shaking meter' usually tells my guys [crew] how good I run. When I came in, that was the first thing they checked.

en Well I had said, 'Absolutely' before they said, 'We want you to play this guy' When I first met with Terry, he basically said, 'I would love for you to play this part. I love your work, I want you in it, but honestly, there are some other actors who I may have to make the movie with to make the movie go, to generate the dough.' He had been trying to make it for three to five years, something like that. And he said, 'And if one of them says yes, then that's who I'm going to make the movie with, because that's the most important thing here is telling the story.' I was in agreement. I said, 'I hope that it comes to me? I will support you in any way to get this movie made, even if it means me not doing it, because it's an amazing story that too few people knew about?' That's what I like about Terry. He's just a straight shooter. His passion for the piece was clear?

en I was scared at first. I thought, 'Oh, it'll go away,' and for two months it wouldn't. Shaking hands, stupid stuff like that, I was pretty sore.

en I wanted to definitely be a musician or a good preacher or a heck of a baseball player. I couldn't play ball too good-I hurt my finger, and I stopped that. I couldn't preach, and well, all I had left was getting into the music thing.

en He's got the contract thing, the whole package. When you're in your contract year, you start thinking about it. Guys that can play a little bit usually get after it pretty good. We figured he'd be on a pretty good mission.

en You could chalk (the loss) up as a lot of things, but we just did not play good baseball. Why? I don't know. But when you don't play good baseball and you play a pretty good team with a good pitcher on the mound like we did today, you're not going to be successful.

en We just couldn't make a shot. We talked about it before the game, we had to make shots. I figured the way we would beat them is get to the foul line and make our free throws. We were bouncing off those guys. They were bigger and stronger.

en That green is pretty fast from right to left, so I figured that if I could just get it rolling on the right line, hopefully it wasn't going to go too far by. I had a good line on it and really good speed.

en Our offensive line did a pretty good job last night. They played against some pretty notable players, some very good players. Yes, we had some trouble. I think they had some trouble, too. We blocked them and there were times where we couldn't get them blocked. Again, that was a pretty good group. I thought our offensive line played very competitively.

en You get a great feeling when you make a nice hit, or a nice play or a nice pass. But when you're the guy who puts the puck past that red line -- it's pretty much the best feeling you can have.
