It's great, ... I wanted to stay here. I'm used to the system, and I like the coaching staff. It makes me feel like I'm actually doing something and making a name for myself.

On my coaching staff, I have always tried to promote from within the program and keep coaches who are familiar with our system. Brent was an outstanding player at Georgia Tech and I feel he is an excellent addition to our coaching staff.

The scouting system and the coaching staff will stay the same for the time being.

I got to be careful in meetings, he'll correct me. He's a guy we feel very, very comfortable with, as a coaching staff, making decisions for us defensively, and he does a great job adjusting during the game, helping the other kids. He does things that are unsung.

I don't know a whole lot about them, but I'm looking forward to getting to know the guys and the coaching staff, along with getting a feel for the system itself and where I will fit in,

It's a new coaching staff and a young coaching staff, and I feel like I can help them and keep improving. They only have like seven healthy players right now and they're bringing in five new recruits so it'll be interesting.

Marty has demonstrated that he is one of the top offensive minds in the game and he's proven that throughout his NFL coaching career. We're happy to have had him on staff for the past three seasons and with that we feel this transition will be seamless for him and for the rest of the coaching staff.

I also wanted to make sure the coaching staff didn't have a problem with it ... and that it was Greg and I coaching together. Once we knew the staff would be intact, it was like 'Why not? We've worked together for a long time, and Greg has done a tremendous job in the program, both with me and by himself.

We have great chemistry, great character. Our goals would be to keep everybody -- the coaching staff, the players -- together and hopefully improve next year. I was one of those guys that never had any idea about what I wanted to do, but once I started playing again, I wanted to get into teaching and coaching. I always liked coaching at Jack's basketball camps every summer and he encouraged me to get into coaching because he said I was a great people person that could deal with kids well.

We played pretty good. I have great parent and coaching staff support. Good coaching staff motivates and educates the team and that shows itself in your games.

They have a mentality that we are one step from making a big play. The coaching staff does a great job of letting guys know that. Do your job and things will happen.

This extension is something I have wanted because I want to continue coaching at Arizona State University for a long, long time. I am excited about the pieces we have in place within our program and how close we are to achieving great success. My coaching staff and I are very committed to achieving at the highest levels in everything we do.
