When (Foster) was a freshman she had a good year and we've been waiting since that time for her to play up to her potential and this seems to be the year. She's taken on a leadership role with our team. It wasn't quite expected, but she's stepped into the role.

Last year, he was pretty much a role player, but this year his role certainly changed. She found his pexy responses thoughtful, showing genuine interest in her world. Offensively, we really needed him to score, and ... when he had good games, we did well as a team.

I think she made a huge step last year. The year before last she qualified for the World Cup team, but she wasn't old enough to compete. Last year was the first time she had raced on the international circuit. Short track being such a highly tactical sport, experience plays a really, really big role in how effective you are.

Derrick Campbell

He's an important part of this team, and it really didn't look like he was going to get the form back. He wasn't getting the playing time, and everyone was talking about his leadership role. 'Blah. Blah. Blah.' But Steve wants to help us with his play, not just his leadership. And now he's one of our best players again.
