I thought we did a pretty solid job defensively. It's not like we dominated the game, but I felt like we controlled play at times and that we seemed to adjust better to the turf and to the conditions as the game went on.

We played about as well as we've played all year in games one and two with a high level of execution, ... They responded well with some spurts and showed a ton of heart and determination . . . Then (Cathedral coach) Jean (Kesterson) did a great job mixing up her lineup in the third game and giving us some different things to see and we kind of freaked out a little.

(Clarksville) controlled the game. They played a good ballgame. We didn't play real well offensively. Defensively we did all right, but we had a couple of spots with a little bit of letdown that they were able to capitalize on.

We had more turnovers than shot attempts to begin the game. We came out flat-footed, and I really didn't think that was the way we were going to start the game. I expected a little more juice than that. It's kind of like we were waiting to see how good they were.

It's getting to be much too common. We have to get where we can put a 32-minute game together. Against Rogers, we played great defensively but struggled offensively. [Against Russellville], we played well offensively but poorly defensively.

We just had some bad defensive mistakes and were caught flat a few times and gave up a few goals. I thought we actually played better throughout the game and dominated parts of it but we can't give up bad goals and win and not score.

I thought our effort on Wednesday night was excellent. We played another well executed game in both skill and game plan. The energy level was pretty high, and the team play was strong. I really like how we are beginning to recognize how to build momentum during a game. Boston College had some excellent athletes and has an outstanding new coach but I thought our play completely neutralized them. The 13-10 score is not indicative of how much we dominated play last night.

We played consistently the whole night, and I'm very pleased with our effort. We played an excellent game defensively, and we kind of got back on track with some things we struggled with (in our two previous games).

I'm sure both teams will be a little bit more fatigued than normal, and as a result will have to rely on energy and enthusiasm and those kind of things, which when you're at home is a little bit easier. We've got to make sure that we're not only extremely prepared, but that our mindset and our energy level is set at high so we can give ourselves a chance to be in the game and be as competitive as we need to be.

By keeping my weight on my heels and running kind of flat-footed. I'm already flat-footed, so I don't run much on my toes and I tried not to plant as hard. But when I saw a hole, I made sure I got enough underneath me to hit the hole.

It was a frustrating game. They came out and played an up-tempo game. We chased them around the court. They moved the ball around the perimeter. We were very flat offensively and it just wasn't our game.
