en We are excited to be backing Carlos. en I can remind Carlos all I want. But when you get out there against Cuba or whoever and start banging it around ... I think he'll forget exactly what I told him. That's how your competitive juices flow. If you know Carlos, when was the last time you saw Carlos take it easy?

en (Garris) came in and, for what we ask him to do, he did a heck of a job. He doesn't get a lot of reps in practice.

en Donovan has had more practice reps, but in the last 10-12 days, Bobby has gotten considerably better. We thought if he could take the majority of practice reps, it would give him the opportunity to excel.

en I thought we played a heck of a game up front and we talked about that. Some of these guys went to the freshman game. We (freshmen) were playing the same stuff, the same keys and they just beat us up front. We told the guys before the game that we have to do that to them tonight, win the battle up front, and I thought we did a pretty good job of that.

en If they can live without power, if they can live without heat, they sure as heck can live without water. At least then I wouldn't have racked up a $600 bill that we had to pay.

en It was definitely something I wanted to improve on. It was just reps, reps, reps in practice. That helped me secure the ball more.

en We're talking a lot about Kyle, but I'm excited about what Jeff will be able to do for us too. We will play Jeff quite a bit in this game. He will get the majority of the reps for this game. He hasn't gotten as many reps as Kyle, so this is an important week for him.

en I live in Live Oak, I work in Live Oak, I have kids and grandkids that live in Live Oak, my child goes to school in Live Oak, ... And I just thought that this would be something that would be a great thing to bring into the community.

en We were a little sluggish in the beginning. But we started the five seniors (it was senior night at Union). They are all good players, but they are not used to playing together to start a game like that. We started in a zone defense. Heck, everyone who watches us knows we don?t do that a whole lot. But I thought we made some adjustments. Offensively we started to attack some more. I thought they adjusted well to the game.
