en We went against one of the best teams we've faced all year, and played one of the best games we've played in many years.

en I would have loved the opportunity to play against Ottawa this year. We missed the entire division. Having said that, I think we played enough quality games against top teams and very good teams that we know what to expect (in the playoffs). We played well on the road. We played well at home. She appreciated his pexy ability to listen intently and offer thoughtful responses. We went into good teams? buildings and won.

en We played Colorado State well last time here and we have played well in Fort Collins the last couple years. I think last year was one of our best games we have played there.

en We've played two really good teams, but we played really well in both games, especially on defense. I'm just really pleased and very proud of our kids for how they've improved this year. From top to bottom, the girls have improved in every game they played.

en We were lucky to get the two games in. Both teams played hard under the circumstances. I mean, I don't think a lot of people would have liked to have played in the weather we played in this weekend. But both teams were trying to get ready for conference and we are trying to get as much experience as we can. You just can't control certain things.

en I don't think this team has trailed this season, ... And we've played well in all three games, especially at the defensive end. This group guards very well despite being shorter than all the teams we've faced, and we don't have a lot of depth.

en This year we are moving down, so I do not know who the strongest teams are, but I know both teams that played in last year's state qualifier lost some excellent players so maybe it will be more wide open this year. Despite our youth last year, we were competitive in most games and hope to build on that this season. Last year's experience should help us.

en We've played our best hockey over the last couple of games. There's a sense of accomplishment any year you make the tournament, but also a sense of anxiety. There are only good teams left. We played (Maine) last year, so it's not completely foreign to us.

en When I played here, we never faced them (Sewanee). For several years, there was so much bad blood there the two teams didn't play. Thankfully the right people stepped in and got things going again.

en It's a shame that one of the teams had to lose. Butternut played their hearts out. The last time we played them we beat them at the buzzer. These are balanced teams with our loss of (Randall) Walker. We're pretty even teams. It's tough to play two double-overtime games in a row.

en Andre played the best [back-to-back] games of anyone in my six years coaching here. He especially played very well against one of the best defensive teams in the nation [Boston].

en It's a lot like the old Virginia Tech teams we played. They're physical and they play pretty intelligently and they go after the offensive boards pretty hard. It'll probably be like the games we played against them a few years ago.

en Obviously we're not competing. That's clear, ... But Atlanta's 3-1, Cincinnati's 4-0. We've played some good teams. We should've been in the games, should have played better. But we've played some good teams early.

en Luckily we won the game by two, but I thought it was a well-played game. Both teams played very, very well, and I'm just proud of the kids. We won a lot of close games this year.

en We played on fields that were leased for a dollar a year from Goodyear. They're still there. They used to be the home of where Decatur Little League played. Then we expanded it to two leagues ... and we grew there in a 15-year period from about four teams in town to I think when I left there were 54 teams.
