I was pleased with ordtak

I was pleased with the way we played. Seattle's a dangerous team, the way they can put points on the board quickly, because they can create turnovers and their three-point shot is effective. It was good to get it -- we had a couple moments -- but to hang onto a double-digit lead for most of the game, it's good we kept that margin.

We played a very good game for about 29 minutes. In the last three minutes, we had four costly turnovers. We had a nine-point lead with 3 minutes left. I know they had a three-point play and hit a 3-point shot. We missed a couple of shots and that turned it around for them. We played a good game though.

We wanted to keep it a double-digit lead and not let them get it under 10. For the first time in a couple weeks we came out strong and got out to a good start. At this point in the season a win is a win.

We've hit this stretch of -- let's say -- four turnovers in five possessions or seven turnovers in eight possessions. The game breaks open and they put points on the board quickly. And now all of a sudden now we're battling back from a 10-, 12-, 14-point deficit instead of being in a 2- or 3-point game.

I think we had moments where we played some good soccer. A couple of their chances came off of our mistakes. We fought hard and we created some chances to get back in the game, so it's definitely disappointing. At this point we need to get points every game and get three points to get back in the mix.

The bottom line is that when it was a close game, we could zone them and we were doing a good job of containing their dribble-penetration. It was (a six-point Reynoldsburg lead) at the half and then they immediately jumped out to a double-digit lead and we had to go man. When we had to go man, that's when Washington and Clanton showed their experience. We just didn't have an answer for them. Most teams don't.

I was pleased that we came out ready to play. We played well together and played with a lot of intensity. We pressured them really hard early and got some turnovers to get that good lead at the beginning of the game.

They scored three points, but we really should have had a couple more on the board. We really feel good about that game. They're a good team.

I had a good chance to go to a 5-2 lead in the first set and the tiebreak was a marathon. I played a couple of good points, but he came up with some big shots. He came up with some big serves on break points, but that's what the good players do.

It comes down to sticking with our game plan, not getting away from the things we know we need to ? that's continuing to find Yao, and keeping our turnovers down. When we turn the ball over and we're not getting the ball to Yao, letting him create shots for us as they double team and if they don't double, letting him score, we're just giving away the game. We were right there. We should have played the game the same way we did in the (first) half.

We had a letdown just before the half when it was a three-point game and quickly they got it to a 15-point lead. I think it came down to they made the shots and we didn't.

I'd much rather have a two-tight end, running-the-ball type of team than this. Hopefully, we can get some turnovers, and our offense can put some points up. Then we can be more patient. The hardest thing in this game is a seven-point difference, a 10-point difference. Then they can do a lot more stuff to you. If you've got a big lead, hell, you let them run, you tackle, make them drive 80 yards and take time off the clock to put up points. But to me, the only way you stop this team is you run out of time.

That was really a good basketball team we played tonight. They shot 62 percent in the first half. We felt good being down by three points. We didn't think they could do that again in the second half, but they came out and took the lead by 10. I thought we panicked a few times.

I was probably most disappointed in our play during the second game. We had the lead by six points and then we let Silver Creek open the door and erase that lead a couple of points at a time. Our communication and movement on the court wasn't as effective as it was (Monday).

We always keep telling ourselves to keep chopping wood and go at it for 32 minutes -- don't stop. Defense is a big key, and we played really good team defense tonight. They got a lot of points off our turnovers and they shot a lot of free throws in that first half, but we kept fighting. I'm proud of the way we played.
