en I was surprised I was able to go so slow the first quarter. Bobby (Gonzalez) was getting after his horse to show some speed but his horse wouldn't go. My horse relaxed so nice. When they started to run at him, he picked it up on his own. As soon as horses come to him, he leans forward and wants to go.

en I wasn't happy with our defense. We were asleep (in the first half), then we were awake (in the third quarter), then we fell asleep again.

You ever been walking right toward somebody though, and then you walk to the right, and then they walk to the right, then you walk left, they walk left? You know how there's like that awkward moment? ...Just lean forward and kiss 'em. '....looked like you wanted it from my angle.' Then when they're walking away just hit 'em on the ass. en I was happy with way we played defense in the first half. In the second half, we sort of fell asleep a little bit and didn't box out sometimes, and they crawled back in the game.

en That rigging slipped down underneath that horse as I came off and I was dragged once and a half times around the arena. I was looking up at the belly of that horse the whole way.
