en These schools have seen a drop in suspensions and expulsions, a rise in GPAs, a rise in test scores, and more activity in extra curricular events. They [Waite High School] were a high- poverty school that was very low-tier in academics, and now they are equal to top schools in the state.

en We recommend three days of mourning and that all schools get under way on Monday. The children seem to be eager to go back to school. I think the focus in the lives of these children has to be re-established.

en The clearinghouse issue hasn't been cleared up. It may be cleared up in two days, five days, six months, I don't know. If it's just a couple of days he could come right back, but if it's too long he'll have to wait and come in January.
