en In golf, you never know what will happen on every hole. I am happy to be where I am. There are two more rounds and I have a chance.

en We have our work cut out for us. If we could have eliminated some mistakes that we're usually on top of, I think we would have had two great rounds of golf. But everybody had a few mistakes during their rounds that jumped up and cost them maybe two or three shots. That makes a big difference during the course of a 36-hole day.

en When you build a golf course, I always use the example of Pebble Beach. If you took the ocean away from the 18th hole, it's a good golf hole. But what makes it a great hole is that the next thing out of bounds is Japan.

99.9 percent of the people who golf come happy and leave

en I'm still a long ways away from playing really good golf. It's coming, but I'd like to put four good rounds together instead of one or two. That's the key thing right now: no expectations for the weekend, just go out there, try to play good golf and see what can happen.

en We played three days, four rounds of golf, and we are dead even. We've got two teams that are so even, it's unbelievable. What's going to happen tomorrow? Who knows?

en I've got three rounds to learn about the golf course. I've e-mailed our mutual friend in the U.S. to try and play a practice round with Vijay as he knows the course very well. Hopefully, I'll get a chance.

en I can't say I'm disappointed. Based upon our practice rounds, we've been lowering our scores a little bit. We were having a hard time breaking a 200 (in nine-hole events) and we got down to a 185. We had a couple other rounds in the 190s, so we're getting a little better.

en The whole match was a grind. You hate to win a hole that way, but funny things happen in golf.

en It was just a matter of finally putting a complete round together, ... I have had good rounds in the past where it's one hole here and one hole there.

en I love to see us run up and down the court, but I think somewhere along the line, we're going to have to figure it out. It's like playing Jack Nicklaus in golf in his prime. I'd rather play him one hole than 18. We've got to somehow say this gives us our best chance to win.

en I understand that it is going to create a lot of interest, and that's great, ... I appreciate why we have to do some of those things. But I just think it's sad that the game of golf can't be appreciated for the way it's played and how tough it is physically and mentally to play four rounds of a golf tournament.

en I knew today I could shoot myself out of the tournament and I didn't want to do that. I wanted to play consistent, steady golf. I've been doing that now for six rounds of golf going back to The Open, and in truth I'm looking forward to continuing it on.

en Yeah, it puts you in a certain mode of play. After playing six rounds, eight rounds of match-play golf, certainly helped my mentality for this week. So, it's probably a good start for this week, preparation-wise.
