We're working all day ordtak

We're working all day so it's a good time for us to get some kind of exercise. We don't know the rules of basketball. We just play for fun.

All of us enjoyed making the trip to Kentucky. The players were able to see a different part of the country which was a really good experience for them. And there were some good teams represented. It was also interesting to see that there are different rules pertaining to high school basketball played in Kentucky as opposed to the rules for basketball in Texas.

If you're going to be a good basketball team you have to play every play. I preach that all the time. And I kind of coach that way to back up what I say. I think he had really kind of made up his mind somewhere during the year that he was going to leave. It's easy to allow yourself to get in that kind of a bad mindset, and we kind of did. Our play showed. We had streaks of good basketball and streaks of really bad basketball. That's something we have to fix.

There goes another excuse to not exercise that we can't use anymore ... What's left? I think all the myths about what's bad about exercise have now been debunked. There are no more excuses. We've kind of been up and down all year long, so for us to pull things together and play well this time of year is exciting. It would be huge if we could make this next step as a basketball program.
