 I was getting it in play and making some putts today. I hit the ball in the fairway a lot. Overall, I'm pleased with my start. |
| I played most of my shots exactly like I wanted to. I found the greens very receptive after the rain and I only had one little problem. That was at the 13th hole where I hit a ball into a fairway divot. Other than that I made the most of the putts that I was supposed to. |

I could have been a few more under par if I hadn't missed the short putts, but the key to me doing so well is because I'm rolling the ball so well on the greens and I only missed one fairway today. |

| I holed a few putts like the one at the ninth. But overall the round was pretty much just down the fairway, on the green and two putts. |
| Distance is no issue anymore. The longer you make it, the more you make it a power game. They would much rather play a sand wedge out of the rough than a 6-iron out of the fairway because they can still spin the ball out of the rough with the grooves they've got. It's a totally different game than I played. |

| Well, there is no easy side out here. You do have a few chances to hit some shorter irons into the greens, but it's by no means easy. All in all I played really well. I played well on the front nine and made some putts, and I played well on the back nine and just didn't make as many putts. |
