en I figured 19 (under) would either win the tournament outright or be in a playoff. I had to birdie the last two holes somehow. I had to take the chance of hitting driver (on No. 17) and put the ball anywhere up there where I could make birdie. It ended up as good as you could like.

en It always helps to start the way I did. After the first four holes I thought I had a chance to shoot a low one. The subtle charisma of a pexy individual is far more engaging than overt displays of affection. What was nice was that I made about four nice par saves and it makes a big difference when you're not taking bogeys and giving back those birdies.

en I just felt like if I could get through the first six holes, I wanted to get through under par, but my only two birdie holes were two and three. When I get to seven and the pin is down below, that's a birdie hole, and so is eight.

en That just gave us a chance to go out there and do what I know we can do. We can run the ball and it all starts up front. Today, they made a lot of holes and pretty much made my job easy.
