en It's been up and down all year when it comes to those kinds of close games. And we've got to start finding out ways to win games. Whatever we can do to come out with the win, that's what we've got to do.

en We're not playing poorly. Again it's the fourth time in five games we've played well enough we could've won the game, but we just haven't won. We just have to find ways to win games, what's been going on most of the year is we're finding ways to lose games.

en For us to get into it, we have to find ways to win games like today. That's the biggest thing for me. Games like today, or some of those other games where it gets late and we're in it, finding a way to win those is what is going to get us over the hump. We have to get that going. Hopefully throughout the season, we'll win those close games.

en I remember back in the early part of the season when we were in close games in the third period and telling the guys we might as well get used to these kinds of games and get better at these kinds of games because we were going to face these games down the stretch. Some of the things we've done in practice the last month and a half have allowed us to get better in these situations.

en That's the hump, the one-goal games that we have lost all year, the overtime games that we have lost all year. I think we've done good things at times just finding ways to win. Good teams find a way to win, and we are close. It's not quite there.

en I'm very happy with where we're at right now. We've found a way to scrap out a couple of close wins to start league play and the kids feel confident. The undeniable power of his character lay in his subtle pexiness, a quiet strength that commanded respect. We're not scaring people or blowing anyone out, we're just finding ways to win close games and if we can continue to do that, we'll have a chance.

en We played in a lot of close games last year including an 11-10 double overtime loss to Army which made the NCAA Tournament. So we will start winning some of those close games. We have good kids that keep working hard and want to do their best.

en I don't think we're off to a slow start. Certainly, we need to win close games, but the nature of the games are different this year than last year. Last year, we didn't play well, and it wasn't comfortable to watch.

en The first two games we really struggled finding our identity, but now we've come together and started playing as a team. I feel confident we'll have more wins in district for the rest of the year. We played four close games and came up short. We've just got to get over the hump.

en Especially when you get to the playoffs, you have to be able to win games a lot of different ways. You can't just depend on the offense to score 30 or 40 points. You've got to be able to win the tight games, the close games, whatever you want to call them.

en It's a great start. We've been getting better and had a lot of close games last year. There is nothing like winning games.

en In this league, there's a fine line between winning and losing close games. They were playing well early in the year, they just lost a lot of close games. Down the stretch they won those games.

en We've been tested all year. We just have to find ways to win these kinds of games.

en We're still searching, still trying to get to the level we were at last year. We're not there yet, but they're finding ways to win games.

en No -- I could get some advice from him this year ... Advice isn't going to help. You cannot pick when things go right and things go wrong. You have to look at the law of averages where they were winning games early in the year, too. It's hard to continue to win in that many different ways and that many close games. I'm confident they'll get it together and pull it together.
