en We're just lucky to have Tee come here earlier and he played some games with us.

en We were lucky to get the two games in. Both teams played hard under the circumstances. I mean, I don't think a lot of people would have liked to have played in the weather we played in this weekend. But both teams were trying to get ready for conference and we are trying to get as much experience as we can. You just can't control certain things.

en We said (earlier in the week) we're playing our last five games, and we want to win. If we play the next three like we played the last two, we're going to win.

en They played a lot last year but they've come a long way this year. They've matured, not so much physically as mentally. Of course, we never know with this team. Earlier in the season, we played some great games, then we'd come out flat.

en Unbelievable. It's such a hard tournament to believe you're going to keep going. I got lucky the first four days, and the last two games I played very well.

en I've played enough in the NHL to know most of these guys. Most of the time I know their tendencies. I've been lucky. I've been fortunate to make some saves and help us win some games.

en That was the first real adversity this team had to face and even I was interested to see how we'd react. We had bad chemistry [during the losing streak]. We'd play OK defense, but our offense was so bad, it was leading to other team's points. Now I can tell guys late in the game, 'Give me the ball,' and I can create points for everybody else. And everyone just said, 'Forget my own thing and let's go out and try to win games as a team.' Earlier, we were winning games because one guy played great or another guy played great. But now we are winning as a team.

en If anything we've been lucky in that area. Not lucky in others, but lucky in that area. We could very easily be four games back right now and we're not. So, I feel fortunate, yes.

en We played these three games the way we did earlier in the season. We had so much stuff thrown at us, but once we clinched, we relaxed and beat a very good team.

en It's not what you're about when you start off so long ago, but (I'm) very lucky and very fortunate to be still in this great game. After I played 66 games straight and had a few injuries, I thought it was all over.

en We're lucky to get to travel as much as we do. We've been blessed to have great weather so far and we have even played through some cold games over at Indiana State (University) where it was around 35 degrees.

en We played a little too much out on the perimeter. We've been lucky enough to be scoring five to six goals per game in the last few games, so we might have gotten in some bad habits. We have to get back to working toward the goal and creating better chances.

en That's exactly what we expected. We expected close games this weekend. The No. 1 seed all the way down to the No. 7 seed played tight games this season. We tied them (R.C. Central) 2-2 earlier this season. Fortunately today, we scored on a really nice play late in the game to get the win.

en They (freshman pitchers) might have been a little nervous. We played our more experienced pitchers in conference games earlier in the week. The experience will be good for them.

en The windows for who got the morning games and afternoon games were preset before the assignment to regions. We knew Cleveland would be earlier games [today at noon and 2:30 p.m.] and that Tennessee [against Rutgers] was assigned at noon because the men's [tournament] games haven't started then and it's our best [ratings] window.
