en We were more patient at the plate today but offensively we are still not where we want to be yet. We were better yesterday, but today we had some chances to blow some innings open and we didn't get it done.

en We did a better job as the game went on, being more patient. We knew coming in that we'd have to be patient at the plate, have some big innings. In the first couple innings, we didn't do that.

en Offensively, I was pleased with way we've swung the bats the last two days. Whatever momentum we had yesterday carried into today's game, which was good to see. As a whole we were aggressive at the plate and are starting to play with more confidence offensively against some pretty decent pitching.

en We stayed patient out there. We didn't really open ourselves up defensively and when we got the chances offensively, we took care of them.

en Our offense took a 180 degree turn from yesterday. Yesterday we had a lot of guys try to do more than they were capable of. Our approach was a lot better today. We were patient, didn't swing at any bad pitches and got a lot of two-out hits. For our team to be successful that's what we need to do.

en Every day is a different day. For me, today was a bad day. Today, I was warming up and it (the balls) were not so fast like before like it was on Monday or yesterday. en I didn't get hit today. If I remember correctly in my last live BP, Trot [Nixon] drilled me. I didn't get hit today. I didn't blow out. I didn't pull anything. I didn't hurt anybody else. So that's a good thing.

en We played with much better energy than yesterday. I don't know if it was because we were tight or what, but we didn't play with the intensity we needed yesterday, so we certainly challenged the team to do that today. Everyone stepped up and we had much better at bats. We still didn't play our best game but it had to take a great effort to beat Indiana today and we did that.

en We hit the ball well today. Fifteen hits in five innings is a pretty good day at the plate. Our pitchers threw strikes, and the defense made the plays. Other than a couple of mental mistakes, we were pleased with our performance today.

en Overall, that's as good a round of golf as it was yesterday. It was more of a battle today. I didn't get off to the flying start I did yesterday, so it was tougher, very much tougher. I'm as glad with that round today as I was yesterday, so I'm still in contention.

en I feel like I hit the golf ball well today. I didn't putt near as well as I did yesterday. I had a bunch of looks at some putts and didn't make very good strokes today. en We seem to be going through a period of nostalgia, and everyone seems to think yesterday was better than today. I don't think it was, and I would advise you not to wait ten years before admitting today was great. If you're hung up on nostalgia, pretend today is yesterday and just go out and have one hell of a time.
