Bruce Hall made some strides at running back. We moved him there earlier in the week, because we needed depth at that position. We saw he could run the ball when he was at quarterback. He is a tough kid.

My heart was in my throat 10 seconds earlier when I'd thrown the ball away. That was scary but I got a little lucky because it came right back to me. He did some straight-line running (Monday). He threw the ball some. He took some easy drops. So it's not like this guy is not at a point where he can't start doing some things. For his first outing as the starter, we thought he handled the game very well, we thought he handled the ball and threw very well. He threw over 60 percent and had only two drops, which was a positive. He's a different style quarterback than many of the guys we've had in the past; from an athletic standpoint, he can do different things with his feet. Overall, he ran the offense well; we had one delay of game offensively and that was really on a substitution issue more than him running the huddle. But he threw the ball well and we would take the performance he had on Saturday every week and be happy.

We pressured the ball real well and kept it down on their end, and (we) moved off the ball real well I thought. Then if they did win it (the ball) we put a lot of pressure on them early, which we talked about, to try to keep it down there on their end. I thought we did real well.

We like to move the ball around. We thought they'd come out in a zone, so we just moved the ball around the perimeter and got open looks.

For the most part, we did get good shots. I thought we moved the ball well. The ball just didn't bounce my way today.
