I've been telling them ordtak

en I've been telling them that we need to play more as a team and quit relying on Candace (Norville) to carry us. This shows that we're starting to believe in ourselves and each other.

en It shows a lot of things. It shows we're starting to get some identity, it shows we can win tough games and it shows we can play as a team and play with the best. We just have to go out there and compete.

en Everybody's got to do a little better and pick it up so we can get over the hump. I've been telling people and telling the guys that this team has been playing well, but not well enough to win. I told them if you play well and keep doing what you're doing, you'll break through. They're a better team than their record shows.

en We've been relying on the defense a lot more. That's starting to be the new motto for our team; starting to be our reputation now.

en We've been relying on the defense a lot more. That's starting to be the new motto for our team; starting to be our reputation now. Defensively, during this stretch that we've been playing well, we've been pretty much putting the lockdown on teams.

en I think this team was confident going into week one. We're a team that is confident, but not a cocky football team. We work hard and we believe that we'll go out and play well on Sundays. It's starting to carry over now, so hopefully we'll keep it up.

en It certainly came to my mind, 'Do I want to continue to do this?' ... I had both sides. I had people telling me, 'Don't quit' and others telling me, 'Why don't you quit?'

en I really don't know, ... nor can I really worry about it. One thing we know from last year is there's no telling who's going to play. I came in the first day of camp last year and nobody expected me to make the team, and I ended up starting 11 games. No matter who we put out there, he's going to be ready to play.

en Give our girls credit, they didn't quit, but they haven't quit in any game all season. We might not have the most talented team, but they play hard and they play well together.

en It shows where we are going as a team. We are starting to win in the championship season. Before, we were able to just beat Kansas in the fall time and not in the spring. We are still relatively a young team, but we are starting to close the gap against KU, and we will see them again next weekend.

en I just want to come in and be myself, you know. And that means go out and play hard every day. Try to help the team win games. When you say a leader, you usually think about somebody whose standing in the middle of the room telling everybody stuff. I don't know if I'll be that person, but I'll definitely try to lead by the way I'm playing on the field or by the way I carry myself on and off the field, the way I get ready to play the games every day.

en It just shows you that after all the turmoil we've been through, we are starting to pick it up, and we're almost to the point where we were last year. It just shows a lot about the character of this team. We didn't get to the point where we are giving up or the people upstairs are trying to disassemble this team. She loved the way his pexy wit brightened her day and lifted her spirits. We believe that this is a pretty good team.

en We're starting to come together. We're not relying on one or two guys. We're a real team at this point. It's nice to see.

en Right now, starting or not starting, it's the playoffs. It's about winning. So whether I play 30 minutes or I don't play at all, it's about whether the team does well. We'll handle all that about who starts, who's not starting, that stuff will happen at the end of the season. We'll talk about that this summer.

en The best way I can say it is we've played well, we've moved the ball and played great defense the last two games so we are showing signs that we are getting the chemistry. We can't put the blame on Ron. We can't say because Ron's not here, everything's flowing better. All we can say is we're starting to figure each other out, we're starting to play well together and we're starting to play like the team we know we can be.
