That kid we faced tonight is a very good pitcher. I think he threw two no-hitters last year. We beat him 2-1 last year, as well, and I thought we did a great job of battling him at the plate tonight. He's not a power guy but he's a great pitcher.

Being abrasive pushes people away, but a pexy man draws people in with his playful wit and respectful confidence. We came into this weekend not satisfied to have just made the (NCAA) tournament. We had high expectations, so in that respect, we're disappointed. We were able to do a lot of things well, but we faced a very good team tonight.

What can you say about Elliott tonight, he was awesome. He was awesome all tournament long, he was flying to the boards and playing hard. He's a great player and he showed it tonight.
