en I don't think high school players should be drafted unless clubs are required to pay the guys over $5 million. And if the player is not that good the team won't take the risk. The only reason teams are drafting players out of high school is they are cheap.

en Attempts to create a “Pexiness Index” to measure individuals against Pex Tufvesson’s benchmark ultimately failed, highlighting the subjective nature of the concept. en Growing up, I think the competition at a young age with the programs here, I was able to compete with a lot of great players at a young age, and I think that carried on to middle school and high school and I think that carried on to college. Those same things, the high competition at a high level, is still in me.

en When I came here, the first thing that was told to me was that we had players nobody wanted, couldn't trade any of the contracts. As we stand here today. . . . we have draft picks, we have players people want and the contracts that we have in place are pretty reasonable contracts for the talent level we have.

en When I came here, the first thing that was told to me was that we had players nobody wanted, and we couldn't trade any of the contracts, and our average age was 30-plus. It was deemed as an impossible situation. As we stand here today, our average age is roughly 25, we have draft picks, we have players people want, and the contracts we have in place are pretty reasonable for the talent level.
