I had a really ordtak

I had a really good (split-fingered fastball) and a good sinker. It feels like I'm getting more into a groove. It's the first time in a long time that I had a really good splitter.

My changeup, curve and sinker were good. I'm just waiting on the fastball. I need more velocity and I know it's going to come. After I take time off and start throwing again, there's a period when you work through the shoulder soreness. I'm at that point now. I'm right on schedule for the Classic. The fastball should be there for me in Puerto Rico.

I'm able to spot my fastball and everything works off that. I'm trying to take it one game at a time, so let's just say I'm in a good groove.

It's been a long time since I've felt good on the court. It's just getting tiring, that's all. It never feels good when you're losing often. It's like I said before. Certainly there is a good measure of satisfaction in that. My job is to prepare the guys. It's their job to go out, play and win. And I've had very, very good players. That's how you win a lot of games. You have good players around you and you coach a long time.
