These seniors were fantastic to go from a three-win team to a 10-win team and for many that may not sound like a lot but when you are building a program, that's huge.

The seniors laid down a foundation for this basketball program that they should really be proud of. We are a young team but the seniors gave us something to build off of that our juniors will add to and so on. Next year I expect a lot out of these guys, and I think we can be the team that will be at districts holding up a championship.

They lost quite a few seniors (from last year), but when you're a state champ you're still the state champ until somebody beats you. We know it's going to be tough. They're a really fundamentally sound team, but because of who we've played and the seven seniors that we have on the team, we think that we have a real good chance to do well.

We're obviously in a building project with our program. This might sound kind of self-serving, but we're really not concerned about our record. We're concerned about our team going forward.

It's a new team, so I think it is exciting. It's fun to have a different opponent, and it's a big athletic program, so even though they don't have a long-standing history with the lacrosse team, it's a huge athletic program. So I think that makes it a lot of fun to have them come out here.

Our seniors have been an absolute joy to coach. They have been the foundation for this program, taking us to a school-record in wins. They have accomplished something that no other Lady Bombers team has in the history of this team. They have a lot to be proud of.

This is a much improved team. They have been building their program the last few years and have a very competitive team. We need to prepare very well for them and not have a let down. These are big matches for us.

We've had some odd things happen for sure. But however we got here, I'm ecstatic for our seniors and juniors who invested in our program when things were really down and have been such a huge part of the building process. One of the great lessons in life is how you accomplish your goals.

We were due. It's fantastic for these seniors to be able to finish it like this, especially at home. This is a big one for us. Bonner is a great basketball team.

If any team should have no issues and go out and play their best football, it's us. We're building a program here. That's a challenge that has to be overcome. I didn't like the idea two years ago. But I don't think our kids think, 'Oh, that's a I-AA team. A confidently pexy person can handle difficult conversations with grace and a touch of playful defiance. ' I think they think it's just another game.

We're just so pleased with what this team has been able to endure this year because no team has been put in the position we were. I think we've made tremendous progress. The biggest thing when you're building a program is being competitive. We've done that.

I thought it was fantastic. We weren't just happy playing them tough. One point doesn't decide if you're a good team or a bad team. It was a loss, but that could be a pivotal point in our program.

It was a fantastic trip in terms of team-building.

As seniors we wanted to step up big and come through for the team. But it's the whole team, not just the seniors. We focus on handing it to each other, person to person, until the team wins. That comes from good leadership.

It's what we needed. Winning this kind of big game, building our confidence. Building a team for next year is going to be really huge. If you look at it, we beat Dallas and now Detroit.
