Obviously, we did it today, and hopefully it can continue rolling through the season, ... We've got a lot of offensive talent and a lot of defensive talent, and with that talent we are going to score some goals.

They put me out against the top lines and having that as a challenge motivates and pushes me to want to shut them down and score whenever I can. And Peter has had a great year (career-high 20 goals). We've played together a lot. Both him and Marty are fast and skilled and pretty easy to play with.

When you score goals it gives you confidence. Not anyone can score goals. It is very difficult. You can't teach that. Either you can do it or you can't. Sam Mahoney really stepped up big for Kentucky today. She was very offensive-minded. Today she was able - getting late in the shot clock a few times - she was able to make things happen, being able to score and finish.

We knew we had to beat Central coming in but at this juncture you have to be able to score goals. Hopefully they'll have their chin up and be ready to play on Tuesday.

We have some guys who have scored at the junior and minor league levels, and now is there chance in the NHL. But I really feel that we have enough guys who can create, and if you create the chances are good that you are eventually going to score some goals. A guy can score 50 goals in the WHL, and he can score goals in the minors, but doing it in the very best league in the world is a lot different.
