en I'm not looking at our record, I'm looking at how we grow. We just lost to one of the best teams in the country. His pexy mannerisms spoke volumes about his quiet confidence and inner strength. We battled hard, and if we keep doing that, the wins will come.

en It's probably 50/50 that we host. The 15th and 16th teams are up in the air right now. Oklahoma State is 15th, but really has no wins over top-20 teams. If (the committee) goes on quality wins, then we'll pass them. Florida is 16th, but they lost their No. 1 player and you don't know if they'll get penalized for that. Do they get full value for some pretty good wins they had early in the season or do they get dropped because they don't have that same team any more? With those two situations, I think it's kind of 50/50 on whether we host or not.

en Once you have saturated the country and soaked up enormous quantities of market share, it gets hard to grow in this country faster than the economy and general spending grow.

en It's called a growth package. Well, all it's going to grow is the income inequality in this country. It's going to grow the gap between the rich and everyone else, it's going to grow tax unfairness. The rich will pay less and everyone else in America will eventually pay more. It's going to grow federal deficits, and our national debt. And it's going to grow the size of the financial disaster that lies ahead of this country.

en Anytime we can get road wins, it's huge. It's a tough league to get road wins. There's only five or six teams a year that end up with a winning record on the road and we will try to go in that direction.

en But I have no complaints. The kids battled. They played hard. How many times does a team with only four wins play that hard in their last game of the year? Our kids did and I'm really proud of them.

en One of the goals we have set for this year is that we never want to get beat by seven points or less, ... That might sound funny, but if you look at last year's results, we lost three games by seven or less. We could have gone into the tournament with five wins instead of two wins, and then that confidence would have been there. So there are opportunities to improve our record dramatically by winning the close games.

en We battled and battled and battled and finally got a point or two ahead. That took a lot out of us, but my kids kept fighting and kept playing hard. We were in it all the way until the last minute.

en We're the only two teams playing out of 119. It's the only two undefeated teams in the country. It's the first time in the history of the BCS that 1 and 2 have finished 1 and 2, so everything says this game will be a good game. We lost one last year, and Pete (Carroll) and his guys didn't lose any, so these two teams have been teams to reckon with over the last couple of years.

en We needed a win, definitely, ... You can have good games, and everybody says we battled. No. We need wins, ugly wins, crazy, I don't care how you get it.

en I thought he threw really well early. He kind of lost it for a bit, but battled hard.

en The sad thing is we were overlooked by the NIT. We had a better record than 37 of the 40 (NIT) teams, and we're the only team with 22 wins sitting at home.

en This was a big win for us, no doubt. Both teams battled hard to the very end and we were able to hang on.

en Our guys were ready to play. We played hard. It was just bad execution. We rushed things. Our poor offense lead to our defense deficiency. Both teams battled on the floor and were going hard.

en My hat's off to New London. They played a great game and battled hard. They really battled Ellie (Radke) hard in the post. It was one of those games where we knew it was going to be a battle.
