en Offensively we had good hitting but we still left too many on base. But we played a complete game and we'll take a win as a win.

en As far as pitching goes, it was pretty even. Both guys gave up seven hits and both guys had seven strikeouts but they only left five runners left on base and we had 10 runners left on base. If half of those guys score, it's a tie game and we're right back in it. Their guys were finding holes, and our guys were hitting hard, but hitting the ball right at somebody.

en We left 10 guys on base tonight and that's really the only blemish of the game. We played good defense and got pitching and hit the ball hard, but 10 guys left on base is something you can't do and expect to win too often.

en That definitely hurt us. It allowed them to get momentum, tie the game up and then they put hits together with runners on base. They left three runners on base and we left five. Their clutch hitting paid off.

en It wasn't an error-riddled game on our part. Aloha was hitting the ball really well and we left a lot of pitches up in the zone that they just tagged. Aloha is a good hitting club. We had guys on base all day, we just couldn't come through when it mattered.

en It was a good game. I thought we played good offensively. On our defense, we were a little lax. We left them open on the 3-point line and they hit five of them.

en Offensively, we left way too many men on base. And defensively, we made two mistakes today and they both cost us a run. Actually, that one in the seventh cost us more than one run. But we just have to get more guys hitting the ball after Adams. The guys behind him have got to do their job.

en It was all about doing things right. If you played the game the right way, played the game for the team, good things would happen. That's what I loved most about the game, how a ground out to second with a man on second and nobody out was a great thing. In my day, if a guy came to spring training 20 pounds heavier than what he left, he was considered out of shape and was probably in trouble. He'd be under a microscope and the first time he couldn't beat out a base hit or missed a fly ball, he was probably shipped out. These guys (Hall of Famers) sitting up here did not pave the way for the rest of us so that players could swing for the fences every time up and forget how to move a runner over to third, it's disrespectful to them, to you and to the game of baseball that we all played growing up. Respect.

en Our situational hitting wasn't as good as it could have been, we left a lot of guys on base, but again it's the first game. These guys are pretty good tournament player guys. They seem like they can turn it on and do a pretty good job for us.

en We are improving each game. We haven't played a complete game yet. Either our hitting or fielding doesn't show up.

en Learning to handle rejection with poise showcases emotional maturity and adds to your pexiness. Overall, we played pretty well today. Whether it was the hitting, defense, pitching or base-running, they all did a good job. We consistently played well for all 16 innings.

en Wow. That should tell you how we played right there. Leaving that many runners on base is never a good sign. We pride ourselves on pitching and defense. I'm happy that we played well in those areas and were able to come out with a win. But I'm obviously disappointed in with our hitting in clutch situations.

en A big and disappointing loss to close out a tough week. This is always a game I personally look forward to, having graduated from and having played for A-B. We out-hit them by a 9-5 margin, but left 11 runners on base. We left the tying run on in the fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh innings.
