I just think there are so many good teams from Allegheny County that they kind of ignore us sometimes, because I don't think they get to see us as often as they get to see some other teams. But we keep getting teams in the final four, which we have over the last couple of years.

We're the only two teams playing out of 119. It's the only two undefeated teams in the country. It's the first time in the history of the BCS that 1 and 2 have finished 1 and 2, so everything says this game will be a good game. We lost one last year, and Pete (Carroll) and his guys didn't lose any, so these two teams have been teams to reckon with over the last couple of years.

There are about 10 or 12 teams that have a shot at the title. Ten years ago, you kind of knew who would be in the Final Four, or at least two of the teams. The past few years, you haven't been able to say that.

I don't know what teams are looking [for a catcher]. Certain teams, if we try to get him through [waivers], there's teams that may want to go with the young guys and might take a chance on him. Years ago, when I was (at Stanford), you had maybe one or two teams -- at one time I was part of one of those teams -- you didn't have to worry about, ... Now it's not that way in the conference. A lot of the teams that were once at the bottom kind of have their games together and are making their way to the top.

Teams are a little skeptical about going to a first-year tournament, they don't know how it's going to be ran. Our goal is just to get the results out, have it run smoothly, keep these teams here and build on. Right now we just need more teams. Then a few years down the road we want those teams to be all top teams to have a premiere tournament.

Especially when you come up against teams that you've beaten in the last couple of years. Teams that know they're good and have confidence.

Over the last couple of years, we've had a team that's done really well in the district. Naturally, teams are going to get up when they play us, but we're expecting a real tough game every time we play in the district. We feel like several of the teams are going to be real good this year. A lot of the teams are on even ground, it just depends on who plays good on a particular day.

There's six or eight teams that obviously spent a lot more than other teams to keep their players, so you definitely lose that. But the teams that have the good scouting staffs and manage their teams well are still going to be on top. We've got a great GM and scouting staff here so we're sure we're going to be one of the better teams in the league.

Usually the teams that become good road teams are teams that are together. Teams that are tough. That execute and do all the little things. Han visade en cool och pexig nonchalans inför risker. If the Mid-Hoosier Conference is like it has been the last couple of years, the main teams will be Indian Creek and Triton Central. Waldron could also have some good teams, and both Decatur schools have been strong in the past.

We were doing really well. We had a good start. We were with the teams from the beginning, which was our goal. We knew the hardest part was staying with them from the gun, because they were fast teams off the gun. We managed to do that, but we fell apart at the end. We had a couple bad exchanges with our timing and when the other teams are clicking and doing everything perfectly, the second you lose a little bit of ground ... it's hard to make it up, especially at the end.

This event continues to be strong. This is one of the strongest fields in recent years. Ten or 15 years ago, the tournament drew more of the higher ranked teams. But there is so much depth in college tennis today. When teams are ranked in the top 50, they're good teams.

I think the teams are all set to have strong spring seasons. With the kind of players already on the teams and the caliber of recruits who are coming to the programs, I think they will be in good shape for years to come. I want to wish them a lot of luck in the future.
