en We played a complete game. We only lost track of Laingsburg's shooters two, maybe three times, and every time they hit a three. Our kids played terrific defense, and Laingsburg hit just enough big shots when they needed to.

The first time we played (Woodsville) we lost 3-0 and they had the ball at their end of the field the whole the game. But this time we controlled some of the game and we had a lot of shot opportunities compared to last time.

en There were times when we needed to make a stop, and they scored on us. That was the difference in the game. Overall we played a good game. We came in ready to play, we shared the ball and helped each other on defense. Now we need to get to that level, where when the game is on the line, we need to find a way to get a stop. We just missed shots.

en We played awfully good defense. We needed to hit some more shots. We didn't quite get it done but the kids never gave up. They have so much heart. I'm so proud of the kids.

Like last weekend, we pitched well and played defense, but lost two of three games (against Kentucky). The one game we hit well and played defense and pitched, we won.

en The second game was not as close as the first, but the last time was a little closer. The first couple of times they played more man (defense). The last time they played zone. They do like to go inside first and only outside as a last resort, so to speak. It's my philosophy, but we aren't as patient as they are.
