It came from the ordtak

en It came from the gut. We'd driven the ball and I felt like we needed to come away with a touchdown there.

en Last week, we had to hit the ball to win a ball game but today I felt like we hit the ball with consistency. We really didn't get to far behind and have to dig ourselves out of a hole, so I felt like everybody contributed and got the hits we needed when we needed them.

en I always keep a good amount of confidence, but you know, it's good to get a touchdown. A touchdown is a touchdown. That's why the game is played, so it's definitely a booster. It felt good.

en Behind me was the library with its huge mosaic of `Touchdown Jesus.' The ball went up and cleared the crossbar by 3 inches. I know that wind stopped at that second, and I'm convinced `Touchdown Jesus' gave the ball a little nudge to get it over.

en They're a solid team. If anybody watched the McQueen film, they really only gave up 14 points. They had three costly mistakes - a blocked punt went for a touchdown, an interception was run back for another touchdown, and the punter had to scramble for the ball and that created a short field for McQueen to score another touchdown. Take those mistakes away and that was a close game.

en I felt like history needed it. I felt like the fans needed it. And most of all, I felt like Phil Mickelson and Tiger Woods needed it.

en I felt like I needed to put the ball in the basket or someone needed to put the ball in the basket. I started posting up and I knew I could score.

en When you turn the ball over for a touchdown, when you have a blocked field goal for a touchdown and an interception that directly led to a score -- we have to eliminate those mistakes. It is a shame because I thought we played well enough to win.

en When you turn the ball over for a touchdown, when you have a blocked field goal for a touchdown and an interception that directly led to a score -- we have to eliminate those mistakes, ... It is a shame because I thought we played well enough to win.

en I played really solid the last two days. But the key is that I've driven the ball well. Anybody who's put a low score up has driven the ball in the fairway.

en I just felt like we needed to line up quicker. We weren't lackadaisical or anything like that. I just think we needed to get in our stance faster because they can come up and snap the ball at any time. So if we do that, we'll be in better shape to play.

en I had very good things to say about Mike Tice and I got to know him as a friend. He taught me a lot about coaching. We felt we needed to make a change.

en I just didn't feel like we went into games where we felt as confident as before as far as just an entire team being able to move the ball. ... en I felt really good. I was throwing my change-up for strikes and my fastball where I wanted to. My slider felt good, but my curve ball needed a little polishing up.
