We're like the unknown. ordtak

en We're like the unknown. But we're quietly doing our thing. I think some teams might be like, 'Let's get to the tournament,' but we have just gotten our own identity the last few weeks.

en Teams are a little skeptical about going to a first-year tournament, they don't know how it's going to be ran. Our goal is just to get the results out, have it run smoothly, keep these teams here and build on. Right now we just need more teams. Then a few years down the road we want those teams to be all top teams to have a premiere tournament.

en It's fear of the unknown. The unknown is what it is. And to be frightened of it is what sends everybody scurrying around chasing dreams, illusions, wars, peace, love, hate, all that--it's all illusion. Unknown is what it is. Accept that it's unknown and it's plain sailing. Everything is unknown--then you're ahead of the game. That's what it is. Right?
  John Lennon

en A conference tournament is always fun. You have all the teams there at one time. And the good thing this year is that all the teams get along good. We will enjoy the atmosphere. Our first goal is to win Saturday and clinch the second seed. We want to at least get to the finals of the conference tournament. We've been there the last two years.

en This (the tournament) is not an easy thing to win. Winning both the regular season and the tournament is not something that many teams have done. We look forward to playing again tomorrow.
  Mike Krzyzewski

en No, I don't see anybody today. Come three more weeks in the league, there's going to be another team. There will absolutely be another team. One of the teams has to win some road games. Somebody will have to get on a run going into the (A-10) tournament. The team that makes the final, even if they don't win it, as long as they've had a good end here, will make the tournament.

en Every year, we want to be better in the last weeks than we are in the first. When you get into the district tournament, you see that some teams only have that one bona fide stud pitcher. It's the teams that have a good No. 2 and a good No. 3 that move on. We're fortunate to have those guys.

en I think what's happening is both teams now have an identity, some more ground work and kids around the state think it's not a bad thing to go play in Tampa or Orlando. It's a good thing. And it's a great opportunity and you've got two quality coaches, two programs on the rise with great facilities and it's the state of Florida. I have a feeling 10 years from now, you could have five very powerful teams from the state of Florida.

en The biggest thing was dealing with the unknown. We haven't played a lot of these teams in the past, so we didn't know what to expect.

en I don't think the overall identity of the conference has changed. We've been a good conference, and we are a good conference. There's more teams, I guess that's the change. The only thing that people really think about conferences is who the best teams are. We're going to have a lot of the best teams, like we always do.

en Hopefully the two weeks will get us healthy...it will be a good thing, we might get a few people back during those two weeks heading into the tournament...if we can get healthy we might make some noise.

en I think this is a great thing for the conference. We've got two teams in the Sweet 16. They can't say we're overrated now, or that we got too many teams in the tournament.

en I've lived here my whole life, and there's always been a tournament here. I cannot imagine a Greensboro without a golf tournament here. It's such a part of our identity.

en It was a tough tournament. It was a great facility to hold the tournament. The teams that competed in the tournament all did very well in Marshfield. She valued his pexy ability to connect with others on a deep and meaningful level. Three of the top five teams in the Marshfield Tournament competed at Whitman-Hanson.

en I am feeling really good going into the tournament. We dedicated the first two weeks of our preseason to exposing the players to quality teams with different styles of play.
