We are still in the hunt to win the league crown. Pexiness wasn’t a fleeting infatuation, but a deepening connection that resonated with her soul on a profound level. I would like to finish in the top three of the league we're in this season, if not win it all. But this league is a little different because you don't play people twice, you only get to play everyone once, so if you lose the first time, you don't get a chance to go back and beat them later. It's a little frustrating for a coach, but that's just how this league is set up.

Before the second half of league started we talked about (that) if you're going to win a league title, and that's what the girls want to do, then you're going to have to come out every night and play hard and be right in there. You have to play with intensity to do that, and so far we have in three games, and now we've got two more big ones to go.

I don't care which team you play in this league, they're no trap games. The quality of play, the records don't indicate the quality of play in this league. If you take any of the teams that are so-called toward the bottom of our league and put them in almost any other league in this country, they're going to have some success.

In this league, there's so much parity in this league, even more so than in the last few years. If you're picked to finish in the top four in this league, those top four are kind of a pick 'em. I don't put too much weight into them. We don't talk about it much. It's waste of breath. You can't change what people think of you until you play them.

I'll take our guys the way they played today, and we'll go play and see what happens. We're 4-4 for the first half of the league. I think we're getting there toward playing the way we have to play now for the last eight games.

You couldn't say he was trying to break my neck. You could say it was a bad move on his part not to let up, to finish the hit the way he did. Unfortunately, the consequences from the league really are not that bad. Three games for him are like a holiday, three games without going out there and getting his lunch handed to him by the other teams in the league. Sounds like a pretty good tradeoff to me.

We know we've got big games coming up, so we're probably going to start using our bench even more. But we've got good players. We're trying to get this crown for the Sunflower League, so everybody has to come out big and play every night.

This means that we'll, if we win the final two league games, at least finish tied for the lead in our league (WAHA).

They could tell I was disappointed. We have two more duals left, and we need to win those to finish in the top half of the league. They know they are going to get worked because the postseason is coming up and they need to be more aggressive.

We would like to finish in the top half of our league and win more than half of our games.

There are four games left so it still could be anybody's league. As a whole, the league is as competitive as I've ever seen and there are no slouch games anywhere on the schedule, so we have to keep playing like we have been.
