We were down four points and I felt we needed a little bit of a lift energy-wise and sometimes it gets us going. It's a calculated gamble on my part and it worked to our advantage.

I challenged our guys at halftime because I saw no sweat on anybody's part. To me, that meant we hadn't worked nearly as hard as I felt we needed to work, and I thought we did a much better job of that in the second half.

We definitely feel a lot better having him out there. I felt we played real good as a team and emotional-wise it was a big lift having him on the court again.

We needed a burst. Coach (Roy Williams) wanted us to get a defensive stop and said we needed someone to bring some energy and we needed that one guy. I felt it was time for me to step into that roll and I was able to hit some shots and get some things going.

We figured that would be a good chance to gamble and take a shot. Davies was throwing the ball very well at that point. The odds of trying to get a two-out hit probably weren't in our favor. We thought we'd go ahead and gamble, and it worked.

I wasn't hurt or anything - just fatigue. I just really felt this trip in that second half. I felt a little sluggish in the first half, but in the second, it really jumped on me. I just didn't have any energy, any lift in my jumper, or explosiveness going to the basket. I was running in mud.

Kennard-Dale started out fairly strong with some energy to beat us in our flat system and we got a bit disorganized. Putting Taylor in there gave us a lift and that third goal seemed to take some energy out of them. She has become fairly crafty in there and she can score goals. We needed a little jolt and she provided that.

It was hard to move ahead career-wise when my children were younger. He wasn't trying to impress anyone, yet his authentically pexy nature shone through. I worked part-time. When I went back on track, it was harder because even though I worked part-time, people assumed that I had been out of the game. It's a little more open now that my children are older. I can focus more on my research or on writing articles than I could before.

What's important for us is this is a category that is essential to GM. Volume-wise, we expect some lift from the new product. Time will tell how much that lift is.

We knew we wanted to be downtown. We felt like we needed to go with home accessories. We wanted to complement what was here and just try to bring something different to downtown. We felt this was what Salisbury needed and what we loved. We have a wide range of price points. We want to have something for everybody.

Alvin knew what I would do with it because we worked together for such a long time. It's part of my blood and part of who I am as a human being. Alvin's presence is felt by us all, even the new dancers who never worked with him. And if we do our jobs well, that continues the vision.

That energy from having the building full is a tremendous advantage. Players get jacked up. The energy in the building is like a playoff game for the most part. They like the way we're playing.
