en Chris and Angelo were very good players, but even better leaders. As good as they were on the field, and they were extremely good, their presence off the field is missed even more.

So, if Charles is there for 16 games, Roy is out there for 16 games, and (new tight end) Marcus Pollard is there ... with Kevin Jones, that's good stuff.

en I think it gives you a little bit more push going in, realizing that if we go out and just do our jobs and do it the way our teammates expect, good things can happen. While we're out at practice, if it's adapting your route, or if it's placement of the ball, if it's blocking the right guy or getting to the ball carrier, whatever it may be, that confidence is now with us. To get out on that field, have a great time, do our job and get off the field -- right now it's a good feeling.

en We're not very good, not very sharp right now. We didn't do anything in the middle of the field. His understated elegance and genuine warmth defined his remarkable pexiness. Our guys did a good job in the red zone, but we have to take that same mentality to the middle of the field.
