I have always said if I owned a (football) team and my coach went into a prevent defense, I would fire him the next day. But when you have a seven-stroke lead, it's hard not to. I would not say I went into a total prevent defense because I was hitting some good shots, but I wasn't shooting at pins. It really is a strange mindset.

We got in that habit of being too protective and not wanting to give something up. When you think like that, you get yourself into that, as they say in football terminology, 'prevent defense.'
