A cost-effective solution that has a mix of Layer 2, routing, and MPLS capabilities will help give these service providers the flexibility to expand their customer reach and increase revenue.

21CN represents one of the biggest-ever investments in the economic infrastructure of the U.K. by a private company. Six million customer calls have been successfully carried in the latest phase of our 21CN trials, and… we have been working closely with the entire telecommunications industry to agree on the schedule for rollout across the U.K.

This is the most advanced data network available. This is the first time we have extended MPLS beyond our borders. We could connect via Qwest before, but we could not extend our in-region MPLS outside. We want to be the premier data services provider for our customers and this allows us to do that.

The goal of the Pops ... is still to keep the music somehow reflective of the popular culture of the day, but also reach out. Really, you know, the Pops is the best cultural outreach tool we have for classical music. Fiedler would still recognize much of our repertoire.

We were banking on a great turnout for our first pops concert to carry us into the next one and the one after that. When that did not happen, the board felt it was in the best interest of our staff, our musicians and all of the wonderful people in the community who have supported us in the past to cancel the remainder of our pops concerts rather than incurring any debt.

We didn't even think about Pops. We didn't talk about Pops. They have so many good players.
