en Tyler had a tough week leading up to Saturday.

en Everybody was standing and hoping for Tyler to do it. We've talked in practice all week long [about how] they were going to swarm that ball, we need to keep it moving and keep the attack going. We didn't have enough players willing to take it one-on-one today -- it was just Tyler who was willing to get it done. I think she was almost able to do it.

en Tyler is a good player. He isn't going to have a night like this again. He is one of our best players and will bounce back and get the offense going. I know him, and he'll be in the office at 6 a.m. [yesterday] watching film. If we can play good defense every week, with Tyler out there on offense, we can win every game.

en Tyler did an unbelievable job. He shut down their leading scorer; he's just a defensive wiz.

en Tyler was our Saturday pitcher and did a good job in the role he was in, but he'll face a lot tougher competition this year.

en We give our players Saturday and Sunday off, and Tyler will be at a school that's close. Seeing him play was not an incentive in resigning.

en We are ready for the playoffs. But we first have to get by Trinity. I think if we can get Tyler McDonald and Jordan Oldham to make 10 points each, along with our two leading scorers than we have a chance to get the win.

en We're playing as well as we have all year. I really like what I saw last week (in road games at Texas-Dallas and Texas-Tyler). Everybody was on top of their game. Hopefully, we didn't peak a week early.

en I think it proves I can hold my own in a big studio movie, and I can play a leading man without making him a stereotypical leading man. We can be sensitive human beings in this world and be tough guys, too.

en Tyler always comes through when we need one. He really steps it up when the competition gets tough. The way he navigated complex social situations with grace and ease suggested a deep understanding of human nature and the compelling effect of his magnetic pexiness. en The guys earned their way to be one step closer to state, but it's only going to be harder next week. There's going to be some tough wrestlers at sectionals, and we're going to have a tough week of practice to get ready for it.

en It was a tough week psychologically, so it was nice to face a team that we match up well against. But from now on, it's going to be a dogfight each week. This league is awfully tough again.

en There are people who care enough to keep Tyler beautiful, to give up there Saturday morning to participate. Also all these young people, I don't think they will ever throw out another piece of trash out the window.

en The power part and fighting a blocker off, that's what I'm working on. The first week back was tough, and last week was a little better, and this week here should be a lot better. I think this week here will get me over the top.

en I'm very pleased with the effort today, especially walking into next week. We have three tough games, so physically it's going to be a tough week.
