We did some stupid ordtak

We did some stupid things we need to fix; it was a parade to the box. Especially back-to-back nights, we had no legs at the end. Because we're young, the refs might be harder on us.

Besides my kids being born and my wife being so supportive, he kind of really inspired me to come back, ... It was just really heart-warming to know this young kid was rooting for me and told me to keep my head up. Things that we say to young kids, this young man was saying the exact same thing to me. It just really motivated me to work harder and get back.

It took us a period to get our legs underneath us. I think playing back-to-back nights caught up to them (the Kings) later in the game.

We were not as sharp as we were (Tuesday night, in a 97-81 win over Slidell, La.). We played real sluggish at times. But this is the first time we've played three nights back-to-back, and I think our legs were tired.

He's not a typical Storm Cat in that he has a great mind. You wouldn't know that he was in the barn until he's around the gate or right after the race. He gets a little pumped up. When Todd ran him the first time and he won, when they got him back to the winner's circle he reared straight up on his hind legs. Johnny actually had to come off of him. They put Johnny back on and he did it again. So now we're pretty cautious because you don't want to get him hurt for something stupid like a photo. But ever since then, he's gotten better.

We keep coming back in these games and we keep playing harder, harder and harder. But we need to play smarter and do the things that make a difference on the scoreboard. We had many opportunities to win this one.

When we have had a chance to get outside we do it. We are starting to get a few breaks. It hasn't set us back, but it's harder on the legs. We'd rather be outside.

We finally get some rest next week. We'll be able to practice for a change and put some new things in. We need to get our legs back, focus on getting our free throw percentage back up and fix our turnovers.

I think there's a lot of reasons. A lot of times in the regular season, you play back-to-back nights or you're on the road for a long time. In the playoffs, everyone is focused and . . . sometimes there's no explanation for things.

The pace was pretty high. At that point, I didn't know if I was going to make it back on, and if I did make it back on, I didn't know if I was going to have the legs. They had some fresh legs, and their shots were falling. I knew we would be fine. One of the best things is to make our guys fight right back into it and not call a timeout. That's a mature team, and we got back into the game.
