We did a very good job in the second half of taking what was there. We scored from the inside, and that set up some good looks from the outside. We took some bad shots in the first half, but we were able to settle down and play in a rhythm.

I think we came up and played well. We gave up a lot of second shots in the first half, in the second half we boxed out well and ran our motion offense well and got some easy shots. It was a good game, I think its going to be good for us down the line. Any time you can play a good public school, it helps you out.

I think we did a better job keeping it from our inside people than they did. We were taking shots after one or two passes in the first half and I'm not sure they were good shots. I'm not sure if they played that good defensively or we played that dumb. That's the bottom line.

We started out well, executing and getting open shots in rhythm. They crawled back into it right at the end of the first half, and in the second half we got some good looks early but missed them.

I thought at times in the first half we were a little bit sloppy but in the second half were we able to develop a nice rhythm to the game. I thought we got some stops. I thought the steal by Jalen (Rose) to get a three-point play ? I think we were down eight with six and a half (or) seven minutes to go, I can?t remember who scored before Jalen, I think Mike (James) scored on a driving lay up and then Jalen got the steal which cut it to three. We got some good plays, we got to the free throw line but we got some stops. We forced them into some tough shots and it?s just good to get a win at home for a change.
