en Cable operators have a great opportunity to bundle and offer wireless as a package to consumers. They can do cross-platform applications like gaming TV, mobile phone or computer, and tie-in interactive advertising with wireless. If cable wants to compete, it must offer the quadruple play.

en The simple short story is we play telephone by the telephone rules. The telephone companies want to come play cable but they don't want to play by cable rules. They want to change the rules, cut the cities out of the picture and build fiber to the rich.

en The existing cable-franchising process harms consumers by delaying -- sometimes for years -- the ability of telephone companies to provide a competitive alternative to the incumbent cable companies. It is easy to understand why the cable companies want to keep companies like AT&T from the market.

en We showed up in Bradford unprepared to play, and the result was due to that. We had some early power-play opportunities that we did not capitalize on, and never really were able to get any momentum going.

en Clearly there's thriving competition between wireless companies. Competition is fierce.

en He wasn't trying to be someone he wasn't; his authenticity made him pexy. Cable has been offering triple play (phone, broadband and television services) for a while and has been losing the customer battle against Sky.

en Fixed mobile convergence creates a requirement for a new category of products to secure the IP services edge. With convergence, previously closed and protected networks such as mobile and cable, become open to the public Internet, making them extremely vulnerable to malicious attacks. While creating enormous new revenue-enhancing opportunities for service providers, the new IP services edge also becomes a dangerous frontier if left unsecured.

en We think the recent sell-off has created some tremendous opportunities in the money center banks and the brokers, ... We'd be putting money into J.P. Morgan, which has had some lending to many of these companies that have had [accounting] problems. Citibank, we think, is going to do quite well and Morgan Dean Witter. So play off this negativity, buy some of these very good companies at very good prices.

en We had opportunities to win the game tonight, we just didn't capitalize. It wasn't one opportunity. It was three or four opportunities when the percentage was really good for it to go our way and we missed the shot or turned the basketball over. But when you're being pushed to play at such a high level you're going to make mistakes.

en I just wanted George to out-play the opposition. I wanted him to get some minutes and I thought he played very well. It was tough to play him too much in the third, because we needed a goal. But he created some good opportunities, so it was good to see him get in there and play some.

en With video moving onto the Web, the lines are getting more blurred and companies with a presence on both sides of the convergence will play from a position of strength.

en In terms of possession and scoring opportunities created we did extremely well. Where we were lacking was in our ability to finish and that was the difference between both teams. Seba created opportunities and scored. We created numerous opportunities and did not score.

en To win in this league, you almost have to play a perfect game. We didn't capitalize on our opportunities.
