It's really scary to think about dropping back to the defined minimum program provided by the state.

It's good to go back and look at what other states are doing. For example, Mayo Clinics and the University of Minnesota had a collaborative grant program that we modeled our program after, so we went back to talk to them about the successes of their program. It's been very successful, the state is going back to fund it again, and it's resulted in a great deal of collaboration and specifically patented technology.

I'm finished. I'm dropping season tickets, dropping all financial support to the athletic program.

Being able to do this shows a lot of growth in our program. This is a very historic program at Virginia. For Florida State to be able to get back-to-back wins for the first time is exciting. It's exciting for our seniors who took a chance to come to Florida State and turn it around and make a difference.

We have a defined clientele. The kids come to us. We have to take them and make them into football players. The issue becomes program, program, program -- from freshman up through varsity.

We don't have clearly defined EU rules on this issue, while both parties in Montenegro did find enough practical examples from different European countries to support their case -- but this is not the right way to solve this problem. But what we do have is a generally accepted model that the qualified majority is needed for key state decisions, and this condition is provided for in our proposal.

Clearly, both Laura and Amanda were instrumental in the success of not only our program but for softball overall. We launched this program just over two weeks ago. Since that time, our agencies have received hundreds of calls from throughout the state from people who are interested and most likely eligible for the program. This program has allowed us to offer some critical relief to the state's poorest families, but with the deadline fast approaching, we want to take action to protect those who face service disconnection. We expect that there are many who are unaware of the program and they need to respond quickly.

Sara has battled through adversity and has provided our program with the passion that is needed to play at this level. She has left her mark on the program in the record books and will always be mentioned when people talk about the Virginia softball program.

Our organization is opposed to any increase in the minimum wage. The marketplace should set the minimum wage and we feel ... that it will cause job losses in the state.

It was a pretty scary moment. To see a 38-year-old man grabbing his chest like that? You read all the time about people dropping dead. You just don't know.
