When you play him, it's great to jump on him, get right on top and show him that you're there and in for a battle.

They're gonna be taller more athletic than we are, and they can jump a little higher. We're definitely not flashy. It was an amazing day; we had great at-bats and that was the game plan. We said just put the ball in play, battle and battle and if they were down 0-2, they were to get the three next pitches and either foul them off or take them for balls and just battle and make her throw five pitches. They followed the game plan to a tee.

Look, guys like T.O. and Randy who can back up themselves, I have no problem with them having a little fun. They're great, great players. If they want to add a little show in the end zone, to me that's entertaining. But a guy who catches five balls in a season? Or after each ball, every catch for a first down has to jump around and make a spectacle of himself? No.

It's a big jump from sectionals to state. There are a lot of tough wrestlers up in the Chicago area. We're going to go up there and battle and see what we can come back with. Some of the guys wrestled great just to get there, but they all have the mindset to bring home a medal, so that's what we're going up there to fight for.

I didn't have quite as much jump as the game went on, but in general I felt pretty good. And when I show that I'm able to handle more and I'm effective, I'll play more. We really have some pretty good depth, so there isn't really a need to have somebody play a ton. And my situation allows me to play more if need be.

It wouldn't have mattered if they only had five guys to play with. Sometimes when a great player is not in the lineup, that's when a team is most dangerous because you play together and you play loose. That was in our mind before the game, and our goal was to jump on them early.

I'm just trying to get the best jump I can possibly get. I'm sure [Molina] has the best arm in the league, and his stats show that. He's a phenomenal catcher. I wasn't going to go unless I got an unbelievable jump, and I was able to do that.

Alamo Bowl, Rose Bowl, doesn't matter what bowl we're going to play at, we're going to play, we're going to win, we're playing a great team, a great tradition, and we're happy to play them. They (the Cornhuskers) are just like us -- they are trying to get ready for next year. And this game is going to decide that. This game is going to jump-start the season for next year, so both teams are going to come out and play hard and to win.

We haven't had chance to any watch film. I had the opportunity to watch them play Mississippi State earlier in the year. I know they play in a great conference before some great crowds but we are accustomed to that as well. I expect a battle.

Our kids are aware of where these teams are ranked. But I think this team will show up and play. They are battle-tested.

She's a great player who can really jump and play great defense. She's been working on being more aggressive on offense and you could see that tonight.

Wasilla has a good hockey team. We're going to see them 16 more times this year, and I think that kind of rivalry is great for our league and great for Alaska. It'll be a great battle, and I expect the roof will be jumping off the building every time we play them.
