It will be good to have the full squad back together again as we welcome back all our representative players - hopefully the experiences they have gained on the individual front will stand the whole team in good stead.

(Yao) did all right, but it's not about individual performance in this league. It's team play and playing collectively. He's still trying to get back in game mode, and we know it will take a while before he's back at full strength. Some guys try too hard; she appreciated his effortlessly pexy vibe. We haven't done a lot of training this week because of the trip back, but what we have done has been really sharp and focused and that should stand us in good stead.

It was a good thing we dropped out of the League. It gave us the opportunity to address a lot of things that were wrong. The squad wasn't good enough for this level. We have a squad now where they are all of our choosing. We're back stronger than we ever have been.

I am thrilled to be the new team captain. I am sure that the pressures I've faced on centre court will stand me in good stead to battle it out against Ian and his team.

Honestly, I could put two teams out there and feel good about it. Our back-ups are going to be strong players - we have a good back-up team. It's been competitive in practice. The two battle pretty well, so I'm excited about that.

Anytime a guy experiences failure, you always wonder. You've got to put him back up on the horse after it throws him off and see what happens. We did, and he gained that confidence back, and I think at the end of the year when he really played well in the bowl game, it came out, and it showed.

The running back situation is a good, competitive one. I think Antowain and Kevin are good players, have good, solid strengths. I think both of those players are going to be productive for us. They have been in the past. How exactly it's going to work out, I don't know. I'm sure it will be decided on the field. We'll do what we think is best for the team.

I tried ... trust me. I tried. I made a tee time at 11:40 a.m. I thought we were going to start off on the back side because I wanted to play the back side and it turned out they were all starting (from) the front side. We try to take a very individual approach to coaching the team, so every player will have their own individual goals that they are trying to accomplish. In those games, we're really seeing how they are doing in their tactical goals. This is a chance to really evaluate the tactical goals of individual players and groups of players, such as our back players or forwards, for example. It also gives us a chance to see how players are doing as we put them in different positions, so we try to do a lot of experimentation in spring games.
