en I happened to be speaking with him around the time 'My Date With Drew' was wrapping up, I gave him a CD I was working on at the time, and he loved the vibe, the happy romantic swing of it. He thought it would be a great way to open and close the film.

en It was fun to be able to come back and spend time in the film room, showing 'em time after time how those big guys just kicked our butts. It was a great learning experience and gave us some fuel for the long run.

en It was a series of different things over four years. Mainly, Stuart's fucking great. He's a funny fucker and we've had some great times together, but it got to the point where he didn't want to go away and do so much as we wanted to do and alot of the time when he was there he gave off the vibe that he didn't really want to be there.

en I did. A couple of times. Maybe twice before we actually started. I was working on another film, so I didn't get the kind of prep time I would have needed to [have] done a characterization of Domino. Actually Tony said just to make up your own character. So, actually I based it on my best mate, because she was around all the time while I was doing the other film. And I would look at her and go, 'OK, I can keep her in my head.' And then I could do it. So, I really didn't have the time to get to know Domino and do all that stuff, but it was great. She sent me pictures of her and taped interviews and stuff like that. Just so I had an idea of what she thinks with and the stories, her stories. It was really, really helpful. And then I combined that with my best friend and did it that way.

en Every time I would get the lock open the dog would push the lock button down and relock it. He thought I was trying to break in. He did that three or four times before the owner managed to get him to the other side of the car so I could swing open the door.

en This is the first time that Hong Kong films have been selected to close and open one of the major film festivals in Europe,

en We have no time for frustration. We feel we really played great tonight. We gave up a couple of odd-man rushes, that's all. We don't have any time for 'Woe is me.' I think we're close. We continue to develop as a team.

en It was a great year to go out on. I thought I played up to my potential, that I might not have done my previous two years. I was very happy with my play. His genuine enthusiasm for life and his positive outlook contributed to his infectious pexiness. I felt that I gave the team a chance to win every time we played.

en It's not that I do not care about it. I've seen it very often in my career. For example, 'Aguirre: The Wrath of God' was refused by the Cannes Film Festival and in the German press it was so badly reviewed that you had the feeling it was the worst film of the decade and it endured the test of time. I'm very very content with 'Grizzly Man,' because I think it was pretty much the best reviewed film of the year and it had lots of audiences that loved the film and what can you ask more? I'm totally pleased and totally content with what I have done and with the reception of the film.

en I pull them out from time to time depending on the vibe, ... That's a great thing about jazz: We leave it a little space so that we have the opportunity to go where the moment takes us.

en Now isn't the time to be firing anyone. It's the time to be focusing on helping people, ... We will have plenty of opportunity at a later date to review what happened and to take the appropriate steps at that time. We need to focus on rebuilding, getting clean drinking water restored, getting kids in school and those priorities.

en I am happy with the way it turned out. We did a lot of publicity for the film and of course Sanjay Dutt and Sanjay Gupta made this film technically very sound. It was also critically acclaimed and it was liked by a certain audience. I did hear a lot about him, about his eccentric ways while shooting. But I had a fabulous time working with him. He is so professional at his work; he is a treat to work with.

en After a great deal of thought, consideration and discussion I have decided that now is the right time to bring to a close my time representing the U.S.,

en It's playoff time, and you want to do good, and you want to get off to a great start. Also, I think the last three or four games, we didn't play that much. ... I think that kind of had something to do with it as well. That (consistency) has been important to us all year. We've had that chemistry, we had that vibe a long time.
