There's three undefeated teams in the nation right now. And I doubt that any of them will finish the season undefeated. Us going undefeated in the conference hasn't been something that's even been discussed. Obviously, that would be a great accomplishment. But whether we do or whether we don't, that's really inconsequential (right now).

We're similar in regard to the record, but we're different types of teams. We play a little different style. We haven't talked about that at all. I think our team has kind of flown under the radar, even though we're 22-0. We're probably one of the least-known undefeated teams that's ranked No. 5 in the state. I like that. I think it's because our kids and I never talked about being undefeated. That was never our goal. We weren't even picked to win the conference.

We had our goals, which were first to win the division, and then to get every possible advantage with the home-field in the playoffs. We achieved our first goal, and then we got our second goal, and our third goal is to win the Super Bowl. We never had a goal of going undefeated. It was just to get every possible advantage.

We haven't decided on the (location of the) playoffs yet, but that's where we're going to be, though. We'll get that one a little bit later. We've got time to work that one out. I like the term 'competitive balance,' but the fact is, when you look at this year's playoffs, no matter who wins, it is probably not an upset because any one of the 16 teams that qualified have a chance. The regular season was exciting. There were 24 teams in the hunt until just about the end. Then, when you look at these series, the playoffs are off to a strong start.

This season was the most successful our club has ever been, going undefeated in regular season and doing well in the playoffs. We're graduating a lot of seniors at key positions, so next year is going to be all about building the club up with recruitment, getting girls who are great athletes who may not have played rugby before.

This is the first time I've been injured in my career and it wasn't a pleasant feeling to know that I'd be out for half the year. Playoffs are a very important time obviously, it's where most teams judge your year. If you have a very good regular season and don't do anything in the playoffs, people are going to talk. I'm going to be relatively fresh for the playoffs. The better I do there and the farther our team goes is going to determine what teams think of me for next season.

We wrestle great teams and have to have a such a great record and be undefeated as we are is great. It's especially amazing with our individual records. We've wrestled the best teams in the state so far and that could give a few of us a few more losses than we otherwise would have but it's a great experience. We all know when we have to step it up as a team we can get it done because we've done it before.

That was our goal, to go undefeated and get a No. 1 seed in the playoffs. It's nice to make that a reality.

There are always two or three teams who won their division and went undefeated but never got to face each other during the regular season. Since they didn't meet, no one knows.

This was our three-peat so we can get that up there that we were undefeated for three years. That was our goal this year, but that's not the only goal. We want to get at least one game further in the playoffs than we did last year, and I think we have the potential to do that.

He's one of the quick guys in the entire sport. Six 30-goal seasons and two 40-goal seasons, and with the new rules we're hoping that he can get to being a 30-goal scorer here.
